We have salt in the trailer for the ramp. As of right now, yes we are still fishing. The board will make a decision between now and Thursday night. We do not want to cancel, but we want to make sure everyone is safe too! If it looks like the roads will still be to dangerous to tow a boat, then we will cancel and make phone calls to everyone in the club. We will also post something on here.

I see no reason to fish. I don't care about the cold, just getting the boat to the lake and in the water might be the hard part.

I haven't gotten out of my neighborhood yet and the prospects for the ice on the first mile of road melting before Saturday AM is slim to none. It might be prudent to postpone this tournament as opposed to having someone get hurt or severely damaging ones truck and/or boat.

Hopefully the counties will be out hard and heavy for the next couple of days, salting and sanding. Main roads are in good shape. No garbage pickup at all this week to allow more time spent on the roads. I bet the county guys are getting tired of this snow.

Where can I vote to postpone? Until about March/April preferably. Or maybe just a couple of weeks or three?

Can we do a club POLL to see who thinks it's wise and who don't? It's not really about the cold so much as it is safety. There are a number of reasons we should seriously consider here.

im working at widows creek right now and the closer you get to the alabama line the worse the roads are , and as of right now its still snowing sideways up here on the mtn . i tried to get to work this morning but it was still to slick . we have already missed a tx but if it dont get much better i cant afford to risk my boat or truck or injury to me or my partner . i guess we will just wait and see what happens . the board will make the right choice on what to do im sure .

I would realy like to fish, with that said, I can certainly go with the majority, however, I make plans around these Txs, so next weekend will not work for me......
