I just want to send out a reminder to everyone for our next few tournaments in the summer months. Please make sure you have good batteries, stay alive or rejuvenate and plenty of ice for the live wells. It will be very hot, and we all need to do our best to take care of the fish and make sure they are healthy for the weigh in. We will have a recovering tank set up, with some one helping with any fish that might need attention. Please do everything possible to make sure that our fish are in good shape for release after the weigh in. If you have any fish that are in question, please make sure it in placed into the recovery tank for some one to look after.
Thank you.

I am sure that everyone has their own methods for fish care, but here is what we do for our fish in the hot weather. 1) we will put one bag of ice in the live well to begin with. Fill the well first thing so that the water is chilled before you put the fish in. 2) add stay alive and Hydrogen peroxide. 3) run the recirculation the whole time with the pro air system. 4) check on the fish and water about every 15 to 20 mins. 5) change out the water 1/2 way through the day, and do all over again. This has method has been very successful for us. When we have lost a fish, it was one of two things, not paying attention or it was a fish that was not going to make it no matter what we did.
Thank you

Hey Brad, have you had any problems runing rejuvinade with your pro air system? I have heard horror stories about that witch has made me leary of using it with my Ranger. Do you use "Rejuvinade" brand or "Sure-life" brand?

I have used both. They both work about the same for me. No problems with the pro air system. It is just a hose with an external pump that pumps in oxygen like an aquarium. The Oxygenate system is what they say not to use with the additives.
