Just wanted to let you all know John and I are about to construct some lodges at Lake Guntersville. We've been working on this for over a year and we met with City of Scottsboro last night and got our approval to begin. Each unit will feature 2 bedroom/1 bath/ FULL kitchen, living area and a boat garage. The property is located at 131 Anderson Street, Scottsboro, AL. We are next to Fire Station 2 on Hwy. 279 and 2 minutes from Goosepond. We hope to be open by November. We want to cater to Anglers and Duck Hunters. Hope you will come stay with us sometime.

Cost will probably be $80 a night. Keep in mind it is 2 bedroom, living room, bath, and a "fully furnished" kitchen and boat garage. Should also have a BBQ grill outside. With 2 bedrooms and a sleeper sofa you can sleep 3 or more comfortably so if a couple of yall want to stay together and split the cost it would cost each of you about $25 or so per night. Creekstone Lodge charges $55-$70 a night thats a one bedroom, bath, and no kitchen or living room.
