TVBC Youth tournament

We will be hosting a YOUTH tournament this year on June 2, 2012. We are still working out all the details and we will fill them in as we get them all worked out. This will be a small entry tournament with awards be given to all youth entries. We will have lunch catered from Nickajack Bar-B-Que & Outdoors. Free lunch plate for all tournament entries. Everyone is invited to come and eat with us, while we weigh in the fish!!! The entry fee will be to cover the food and awards only. Here is what we do have so far. We are looking for all the door prize sponsors that we can find, so if you are interested in helping us out with this event, please contact one of the TVBC board members.

Date: June 2, 2012

Location: Lake Nickajack - Shellmound

Entry: $15.00 (each boat must have a youth entry of age 15 or younger, and accompanied by an adult 18 years of age or older)

Awards: Plagues for 1st - 5Th.....other awards for every youth entry.

Hours of tournament: 8:00am - 12:00pm est

Limit: 1 fish limit.....yes 1 fish limit
Large mouth, Small mouth or Spotted Bass

Food & Drinks: Will be catered at the weigh in for all participants. This will be courtesy of Nickajack Bar-B-Que & Outdoors

General Rules: ALL TVBC general rules will apply, unless other wise posted.

Here are some more details for the youth tournament. We have been asked several question about this and it looks like we will have a good turn out. Try to remember, that this tournament is for the kids, and we are doing our best to keep it simple and fun for all!!!!

- Can you fish with more than one youth. YES. The entry fee is $15.00 per team which is 1 adult and 1 youth. If an adult wishes to fish with more than 1 youth, the entry fee will be $5.00 for each additional youth. This fee is to cover the lunch plate.

- Can more than 1 team fish from 1 boat. YES

- Can you fish from the bank. YES, but you must stay with-in the Shellmound recreation area.
