I am considering retiring a few of my older rods and replacing them with some new ones (any excuse to add to the collection!). I have used some split grip styles lately and really like them. I was wondering what some of you guys opinions are; what brands, styles, etc. do you like? Let me know.

It is hard to go wrong with a Powell Rod! Good price for the product too...

I have 100% Powell Rods. If I didnt have them I would contact Tim Patterson - and get him to make me all my rods. He is in our club if you didnt knowit;

Thanks David the check is in the mail...lol. I will make anyone a rod the way you want it. It is more a hobby for me so I am not trying to make my living off of my rod making.
