As of 2/2/2012, the Tennessee Valley Bass Club will NOT allow guide services to be used with in 30 days of a given TVBC points tournament. This ruling comes after many concerned phone calls and message's from club members. It is the TVBC board members responsibility to protect all club members and the integrity on the TVBC, and we felt that is was the most responsible decision that could be made. This ruling is as follows.
- A club member or Alternate club member is NOT allowed to be in a boat with a guide service with in 30 days prior to a tournament on that tournament's eligible waters. Tournament eligible waters are considered as waters that are fish-able for a tournament, and this includes locking through for a tournament. One example is as follows;
example: Tournament hosted on Lake Nickajack - Tournament eligible waters are, Lake Chickamauga, Lake Nickajack and Lake Guntersville.
We hope this takes care of every ones concerns. We are very aware that we can not make everyone happy in every situation, but we will do our best to do what is right and best for the club. If you have any questions, please make a post on here, PM and or contact a board member.
Thank you

We need a clarification on the "No guide rule"
It says "will NOT allow guide services to be used with in 30 days of a given TVBC points tournament"
How about during the tournament? :-)
